When is a Laser Big Enough
When is a machine big enough in the #manufacturing world….well sometimes it’s just not and you need a GIANT! In general items are getting smaller and more compact but in the manufacturing space and particularly the #laser #cutting space big is getting bigger and bigger from the size of the laser source to the size of the format size.
Traditionally large tables and thick material cutting was only seen in #plasma & #oxy cutting but it’s starting to become more and more common to see this in lasers now. The benefit is that multiple jobs can be set up along the length of the table and cut individually while others are removed without any interruption to the cutting process.
